Broken Collar Bone

My poor little Julie broker her collar bone on the afternoon of April 30th.

Earlier in the day she had successfully crossed the monkey bars by herself two times.  After her nap she was excited for me to come out and watch her do it again!  I stood back as she attempted to cross the bars.  She didn't get very far when things went terribly wrong.  Her hands started to slip and instead of dropping to the ground, she reached her feet out to the ladder as she fell.  This caused her to fall head first towards the ground.  She landed right on her shoulder.  I could tell by the cry that it wasn't good.   We called our doctor who was inside in his chair, and he confirmed my suspicions!

Poor girl keeps telling me I wish you would have been there to catch me.  Me too baby girl, me too!

Me: Julie will you get your dirty clothes out of your closet for me?

Julie: Sure!!!!

This is what I found... She did just as I said.  Got the clothes out, left the basket in the closet!  :-)

Easter Bunny

Over Spring Break we went and visited the Easter Bunny at the mall with our friend Carter.  Can you spot the missing person?  Luke was not interested in coming with us!  I told Bryce I can't believe I have a kid old enough to be to cool for the bunny!  ;-(

Kelly is the only one of the girls to sit on the bunny's lap!  Molly waved to him from a distance and Julie high fived him.  Julie was so scared her body was shaking!

Julie turns 2

Julie turned 2 on March 2nd.  Bryce worked the night before and  the night of her birthday.  Her day was filled with basketball, Kelly's friend's birthday, and their cousin's first birthday, so her day was pretty uneventful!!!

 We celebrated with donuts in the morning!

I can't seem to find the stats for the other kiddos at 2.  It would be interesting to compare!
I know Molly was 27 pounds at 2.

Julie:

height: 37 3/4 inches - 99% percentile
Wight: 33lbs- 95%
Head: 19 1/4 inches

Did you know that they now measure BMI for kids?  Ugh!  Bryce says it was never intended for pediatric use.

Blogging

As I was reading through some old posts, looking for information on my kids, I realized I used to be a much better blogger.  I had stories, facts, cute kid quotes, etc.  Now it is a miracle if I can get pictures put on!  I love to have this diary to look back upon.  So I decided in this season of my life, if pictures is all I can do, then pictures it is!

I L♥VE these picture of Julie and Kelly.  Julie is really starting to understand the sister/brother thing.  She willing hugs/kisses them and enjoys hanging out with them.  It makes my heart happy!
